Defense- Jordan Crawford, Defensive Back - Doane
Doane defensive back Jordan Crawford is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America
Sports Football Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Crawford, a senior from
Arapahoe, Nebraska, led the Doane defense with five solo and six assist
tackles in a 28-13 win over Briar Cliff. He added a sack and an
interception for a 45 yard touchdown. Crawford also had 3.5 tackles for
loss. Doane ended the season at 2-8.

Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to
announce the following football players-of-the-week for games played on
Saturday, November 13, 2005. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting
sponsor of the 2005-2006 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and
Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Football Players-of-the-Week
Offense – Craig Fobbe, Quarterback - Morningside
Morningside quarterback Craig Fobbe is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America
Sports Football Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Fobbe, a senior from Maple
Lake, Minnesota, capped off a record setting regular season with 476 yards
passing (25-43) and four touchdowns in a Morningside 49-27 win over Dana.
For the game Morningside posted 695 yards of total offense. Both offensive
marks set school records for the 10-0 Mustangs. Fobbe led Morningside to
the GPAC title totaling 3673 passing yards and 29 passing touchdowns on the
season. Fobbe has now had 118 straight pass attempts without an
interception. Third ranked Morningside will host a first round NAIA Playoff
Series game next Saturday against 14th ranked St. Ambrose (8-2).
Game time at Elwood Olsen Stadium is set for 1:00 pm.

Special Teams- Adam Maser, Kicker - Hastings
Hastings kicker Adam Maser is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports
Special Teams Player-of-the-Week. Maser, a senior from Grand Island,
Nebraska, was two for two on field goals including a 31 yarder. He also
converted three of three points after touchdowns. Hastings defeated
Nebraska Wesleyan 27-20 and finished the 2005 season at 4-6.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Football Players-of-the-Week Announced
Defense- Jordan Crawford, Linebacker – Doane
Doane linebacker Jordan Crawford is this week’s
GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Football Defensive Player-of-the-Week.
Crawford, a senior from Arapahoe, Nebraska, totaled seven solo and ten
assist tackles in Doane’s 16-10 win at Northwestern. He had five tackles
for loss, two of which happened on back-to-back plays in the fourth quarter
after Northwestern had gotten to the Doane one yard line and did not score.
The Tiger defense held the Red Raider offense to 232 total yards of
offense. Tommie Frazier picked his first career win at Doane College (1-2).
